At ACE Hôtel, we believe that being eco-responsible is simply being responsible.

Because taking care of you is also taking care of ourselves...

We can often read complex charters with figures and percentages... but at ACE Hôtel, simplicity is part of our DNA. Our hotel chain is one on a personal scale, so we have chosen to carry out simple, everyday actions.

Use of water

All of our bathrooms are equipped with ventilators to reduce our water consumption without reducing your comfort.
We monitor the plumbing every day, our teams are trained to spot the slightest leak. If you notice a suspicious drop in your room before we do, you have a role to play too. Simply let us know and we will take immediate action.
The water consumption in each of our hotels is monitored closely using meters.
While we're brushing our teeth, we turn off the tap. How about you? When you think that a closed tap represents about 10 litres of water saved per minute... Without being a mathematician, we can imagine what this means for a hotel with 60 rooms. And on a global scale, we all have a huge role to play, while keeping a bright smile.
Every day we ensure that every room and every bathroom is cleaned with the utmost care. If you're staying for several nights consecutively in our hotel and are happy to reuse your towels, don't forget to hang them up. One reused towel saves 6 litres of water (and detergent). If you have chosen one of our hotels for a long stay, your sheets will be changed every 3 days. If you feel that this is not necessary, please let our team know.

Energy consumption

To limit our consumption, we optimise our electrical installations and insulation and pay attention to the energy performance of our buildings. The ACE Hôtels built since 2015 have a 'B' energy rating. Hotels are now built with external insulated cladding, which is more efficient.
All our rooms are equipped with a key card. When you leave your room, you don't have to worry about the lights being left on. Everything is switched off with a click.
For your comfort, all our hotels are air-conditioned. That's great to have a cool room in summer, but it's not that great in fact. Do we really need it? We have retained this system but rely on you to use it sensibly.
As with water consumption, the electricity consumption of each of our hotels is closely monitored on a daily basis, confirmed by our meter readings.
We have brand new hotels that are fully equipped with LEDs and older hotels. For these hotels, we are "relamping". What is relamping? It consists of replacing a lighting system with a more economical one, using LED technology for example, adding motion sensors with timers in the corridors too.
We also use our common sense: we maintain our appliances, refrigerators, heating and air conditioning systems. We try to eliminate draughts and in summer you will notice that we draw the curtains of your room to shelter it from the sun.
We nearly forgot, all of our hotels are double-glazed for good acoustic and thermal insulation.
Several of our hotels have electric charging stations so that our guests can recharge their vehicles, thus limiting CO2 emissions. We will be extending this to more hotels in the coming years.

Waste management

Our hotels have recycling bins, similar to what you have at home. Simple, visual and easy for everyone.
We are reducing our packaging to minimize waste. For instance, we have eliminated single-serve compotes in favor of larger containers, and individual chocolate spread portions have been replaced with recyclable glass jars. Importantly, our hazelnut and cocoa spread is both delicious and palm oil-free!
Our suppliers also contribute to our efforts, by reducing delivery packaging.
Our staff are trained and apply all of these daily actions.

Our choices

En 2023, ACE Hôtel a sélectionné la maison DUVIVIER HOTELLERIE pour un confort de literie nuit après nuit. Depuis 1928, le Groupe Matfa - Literie Duvivier confectionne avec soin une literie française haut de gamme. Les ateliers de fabrication, situés en Vendée et en Vienne, œuvrent chaque jour pour vous offrir bien-être et sommeil réparateur. La marque tricolore, labellisée Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant et Origine France Garantie, apporte un soin particulier à chaque literie qui sort de ses ateliers. Savoir-faire et haute technologie se marient à merveille pour la fabrication de matelas composé de matières naturelles et de matériaux recyclables qui contribuent à la préservation de l’environnement. Pour nos hôtels construits avant 2023, nous remplaçons au fur et à mesure nos anciens matelas par des matelas le marque DUVIVIER HOTELLERIE.

ACE Hôtel est partenaire de To Good to Go depuis le mois de mars 2021 pour agir contre le gaspillage alimentaire et limiter la production de déchets. A l’heure du petit-déjeuner, nous cuisons des baguettes, des croissants, des pains au chocolat... parfois il en reste. Nous sauvons en moyenne 600 paniers par mois.

La chaîne ACE Hôtel est née en Auvergne, le pays des Volcans dont la chaîne des Puys est classée au Patrimoine Mondial de l’Unesco. Inutile de vous dire nous sommes des ardents défenseurs de la nature préservée et des produits régionaux ! Nous avons à cœur de vous faire connaître les plus belles balades en France à découvrir, à pied à vélo ou en transport partagé (c’est nettement moins polluant) , sans oublier les meilleures adresses proches de nos hôtels pour savourer les délicieuses spécialités régionales bien ancrées dans leur terroir. Nos équipes ont parcouru chaque région pour vous et vous livrent leurs carnets de voyage. Nous pensons que les plus beaux voyages sont à deux pas de nous.
